Panels are the Future
The SIP panel industry is in the midst of a powerful expansion that many industry professionals believe will bring SIPs from a 'relatively unknown alternative building technology' to the forefront of conventional stick framing, for residential and light commercial construction.

While the numbers vary, many industry leaders predict that SIP panel homes will continue to grow at rate of more than 35% per year. This increase represents close to 100,000 new SIP buildings. Although this is a rapid increase in SIP panel value, some industry professionals believe SIP production is operating below capacity.

However, increased energy costs, heightened environmental consciousness, raising prices of raw materials, and increased labor costs, should make the demand for SIPs greater than ever before. As this demand reaches the capacity level of most manufactures, the economics of scale should bring the costs of SIPs even lower, making SIP panels an attractive building technology to the consumer.
